TaylorMade AeroBurner Mini Driver revealed
TaylorMade introduces 253cc version of its AeroBurner driver
TaylorMade has unveiled a mini version of its AeroBurner driver following the success of the SLDR mini last year
TaylorMade has unveiled a mini version of its AeroBurner driver following the success of the SLDR mini last year.
The AeroBurner mini incorporates all the elements of the standard driver in a more compact head shape.
The aerodynamic head features a shallower face, a raised centre crown and a new hosel fin.
Like the original, it features a cavity that protrudes deep into the face, creating a larger sweet spot, more face flex and reduced spin.
A speed pocket insert also helps ensure unwanted mud, grit and other debris doesn't find its way into the speed pocket.
TaylorMade says the AeroBurner Mini Driver is more playable due to its larger hittable face area and 253 cubic centimeter overall size.

Alignment is also simplified through a new matte white finish, black PVD face and linear AeroBurner crown graphic.
Check out GM's TaylorMade AeroBurner Mini review:
"The SLDR Mini Driver captivated the golfing public by delivering better 3-wood performance from the tee," said Brain Bazzel, Senior Director for Metalwood Product Creation at TaylorMade.
"The AeroBurner Mini Driver brings more speed and forgiveness to this popular new club type."
The AeroBurner mini is constructed with a lightweight Matrix Speed RUL-Z 60 shaft and TM speed grip.
TaylorMade is also producing a TP model, which comes with a longer hosel and sits with a flatter lie and a more open face.
The TP version comes with a Matrix Ozik White Tie 70X4 shaft and a Lamkin UTx grip as standard.
The standard AeroBurner Mini Driver (RRP £219) comes in 12, 14 and 16-degree loft options, while the TP (RRP £299) is available in 12 and 14 degrees.
If desired, a range of aftermarket shafts and grips are available.
Both the AeroBurner and AeroBurner TP Mini Drivers will go on sale on March 27.
A new TaylorMade AeroBurner Pro golf ball also joins the range.
The three-piece model is designed for high ball speeds, while a Spin Mantle and a proprietary lothane cover deliver spin control and soft feel.
The AeroBurner Pro ball, available now, comes with an RRP of £24 per dozen.
