Golf Monthly's Nike Vapor Fly Pro iron review, a set with a broad appeal thanks to the classy black finish and RZN technology to improve feel, forgiveness and distance
The Vapor Fly Pro irons (£599.99 steel, 4-PW) are more compact than the Vapor Fly irons and have a black PVD finish aimed at both game improvers and better players.
The set features a modern muscle design that positions the centre of gravity (CG) in the middle of the face for added stability and a better feel at impact. It's shape and size means it offers more workability than a traditional game improvement iron.
The use of RZN material creates lower and deeper weighting that encourages a higher launch, and in turn, a steeper descent angle to help shots stop quicker.
As with previous Nike irons, variable thickness NexCOR faces and FlyBeam-reinforced chassis help the faces flex powerfully for faster and more consistent speeds across the face.
The set is also progressive in its design. Hollow RZN cavity long irons (2-5 iron) feature a metalwood-style construction with FlyBeam reinforcement for superior distance and forgiveness.

RZN cavity short irons (9-Approach wedge) also features RZN material in the cavity of the irons to enable shot making creativity.
