Inside Galvin Green - We were given exclusive access to one of the world’s most forward-thinking performance golf apparel companies to meet the people behind the products that keep you playing whatever the weather

There has never been as much choice when it comes to the clothes you choose to wear to play golf as there is now. Every price point, style, colour, fabric, feel and layer is on show by an ever-increasing number of brands claiming to offer golfers the best apparel for their game. But if you ask yourself who truly is the best, which brand you would wear if you wanted the ultimate-performance from your gear and if money was no object, then odds are that you’d choose Galvin Green.

Growing from humble beginnings in southern Sweden, Galvin Green has quickly become the must-have brand for serious golfers wanting to play golf all year round. It built its reputation on waterproofs, with golfers trusting the quality and performance of its outerwear products, which then spread into other categories, allowing golfers to combine multiple layers to conquer the most extreme changing conditions they’ll ever face on the fairways.

Take a look at typical fourballs working their way around courses across the country and it’s fair to say to suggest that many golfers under value the importance of the clothes they wear on the golf course. Be it shirts that haven’t been designed for sport let alone golf, bulky jumpers and jackets or no jacket at all a lot of golfers are not giving themselves the chance to focus on shooing a good score or winning a match should the weather take an unexpected turn as it so often does.

Golf is all about equipping yourself with the right tools to play the game to the best of your abilities and Galvin Green believe that your clothing is a big part of that. Whether it’s wind, rain or sunshine, they think that through their comprehensive range of technical performance apparel, they’ve got you covered. And, while function is most important, one also can’t deny the distinguishable Galvin Green look that is instantly recognizable and enjoyed by golfers, male or female and of all ages.
