Hill Billy electric trolley reader review
Eight readers recently conducted a Hill Billy electric trolley reader review
Eight Golf Monthly readers were recently given the chance to conduct a Hill Billy electric trolley reader review at The London Club, and here's how they got on...
As keen followers of the Golf Monthly Forum will know, we regularly post opportunities our readers can apply for, such as custom fitting days or one-off experiences. A recent one of these saw eight golfers take to the fairways of The London Club for a Hill Billy electric trolley reader review.
For those of you who don't know, Hill Billy is a British electric trolley brand based in Kent, which aims to deliver simple folding, robust and good looking frames and a range of high quality battery options.
When it comes to functions, its trolley is based on a less-is-more attitude, with Hill Billy placing itself as a brand ideal for first time trolley users and those after minimal distractions.
Its trolley also offers great value, possible thanks to its selling policy that sees it cut-out retail points and sell direct to golfers via www.hillbilly.co.uk, which helps it cut costs and make the final purchase price cheaper for you.
To put all these points to the test, our readers set out over the International Course for a wet and windy 18 holes, taking notes on anything and everything, from battery power up the steep hills, to practicality on the tee and around the greens.
Each of our testers then reported back at the end of their round to pass on their insight to any of you who are currently considering getting a new electric trolley.

Our testers included a mix of carry bag users and push and electric trolley users, so were in the perfect position to give their mix of opinions. Here's a summary of what they thought...
Hill Billy electric trolley reader review key findings
All our reader testers were in agreement that the Hill Billy electric trolley does a great job of getting you around the course without any fuss, which many of them as first time trolley users were after.
They were also all impressed with the value on offer, with the lead acid battery version coming in at £259 and the lithium battery version at £359.
The Plug'n'Play battery system that rids you of fiddly wires and connectors went down well, while the stylish alloy frame was surprisingly light and folded into all our attendees' boots easily.
