This year's US Open will see a large representation of Asian Tour members that hold great hopes of success for the future.
The 11 Asian Tour members, consisting of the first Asian male to win a Major, Y.E Yang, and the reigning number one in the region, Thongchai Jaidee, are set to make an impact at Pebble Beach.
After the victory at Hazeltine last year for Yang, it was reinforced that success is most certainly feasible in Major championships for the region's best players.
Yang finished in the top eight in the Masters at the first Major of the season, at Augusta, along with K.J Choi who is set to be influential along with the Asian Tour members this week at Pebble
Beach.
Noh Seung-yul, a Korean teenager, is currently second on the Asian Tour's Order of Merit and set to make his debut at the US Open after sectional qualifying enabled him to gain a place in the elite field.
Rikard Karlberg from Sweden, Arjun Atwal from India, Terry Pilkadaris from Australia, Vijay Singh from Fiji, Azuma Yano and Hiroyuki Fujita from Japan, and Rhys Davies from Wales will also represent the Asian Tour at the US Open starting this Thursday.
