US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 16
At 231 yards the only way to find the green is with a well-struck shot
A guide to the sixteenth hole at Oakmont Country Club ahead of the 2016 US Open
US Open 2016 Oakmont Country Club: Hole 16
Hole 16 - Par 3 - 231 yards
The 16th requires a long iron or hybrid for the professionals into a green that slopes from left-to-right.
Expect to see many hitting from the front-right bunker where a sandy par is possible.
However from the left-hand bunkers, with the green running away from you, a bogey is likely.
The winner may well be the player who pars this whilst his competitors make four.
