Chambers Bay hole 10 - High Dunes - Par 4 - 436 yards

If it weren't for the stunning view behind the green, a player might feel a little caved in by the size of the dunes that guard the tenth green.

To get to that green, though, you'll have to fire a shot down an increasingly narrow fairway. Stray shots will either land in the bunkers tight up against the dunes, or on top of the dunes themselves, potentially rolling down if your luck is in.

The fairway becomes dramatically tighter just before the green, meaning players will have to pick their approach shots carefully. A couple of bunkers also sit either side of the green, with one towards the front and another just off the back

In other words, if you end up a little short or a little left, you'll run the risk of needing your wedge from the sand to save par at best. Don't be surprised to see special attention given to bunker shots during practice rounds given the number of them and their imposing size.
