BMW PGA Championship winner Simon Khan has been given an invite to take part in next week's final Major, the US PGA Championship at Whistling Straits.
Khan lost his Tour Card last year and was considering giving up the game. However, things went Khan's way at Q-school and he regained his card in emphatic fashion. Khan then went on to win the European Tour's flagship event only months later.
The Major that has now been coined "glory's last shot" by the American media is being held at Whistling Straits in Michigan. The last time a Major was held at this venue it was won by Vijay Singh in 2004.
Other invites have been handed out to Ben Curtis, Boo Weekley as well as European Tour members Darren Clarke and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano.
There are two further places remaining for the winner of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the champion at Turning Stone.
