Enter the Help for Heroes La Manga Golf Classic
Following last year's success, Rugby's Golf Club is again organising the QBE Golf Classic at Murcia's La Manga Club to raise funds for Help for Heroes
This May, Rugby's Golf Club will host he QBE Golf Classic at La Manga Club, Spain, in support of Help for Heroes.
The charity fundraising tournament is a 54-hole team stableford event, with a different rugby celebrity joining each three-member group every day.
The event will take place between Wednesday May 15 and Sunday May 19 and will be contested over La Manga's South and North championship golf courses.
La Manga Club is one of the finest golf resorts in Spain, and has been named Europe's leading golf resort three times in its illustrious past. The South Course also hosted the European Tour's Spanish Open in the early 70s.
Each team score will be rolled over daily and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams at the end of the competition.
The 2013 event package includes four nights bed and breakfast and the five-star Principe Felipe Hotel La Manga Club, three rounds of golf on the North and South Championship courses, a welcome drinks reception, a welcome dinner, a private BBQ, a gala dinner, sponsored halfway house refreshments and a golfers' goodie bag supplied by QBE insurance.
A donation will also be made from the price of entry to Help for Heroes.

Nick is a 12-handicap golfer and his favourite courses include Old Head, Sunningdale New, Penha Longha, Valderrama and Bearwood Lakes.
