Welshman Jamie Donaldson is set to play his first Major in America when he tees off at the USPGA Championship.
Donaldson managed to get an invite to play at Atlanta Athletic Club despite dropping from 98th to 102nd after finishing 45th at the Irish Open.
The 35-year-old has only played one Major, the 2006 Open at Hoylake, but will play the final Major of the season, much to his delight. "Buzzing just got in the USPGA, yippeeeeee!," Donaldson told Twitter.
The Welsh number one has yet to win on the European Tour in over 200 starts, but he has had to fight injury throughout his career to date and has managed three wins on the Challenge Tour.
