Brittany is one of those destinations that offers so much more than golf. France is always a great place to visit for great cuisine and beautiful wines, but throw in some stunning tracks and you have a perfect recipe for a fantastic weekend

Perhaps not an obvious choice for a golfing vacation, particularly in high summer. But then why bother with ultra-busy Spain and Portugal when you can have satisfyingly affordable, wonderfully serene fairways in a range of tracks from links to parkland to American-style - all just an hour's flight from the UK? Thrown in some of the planet's finest seafood and wine and it's not hard to appreciate why Brittany refreshes the parts other weekend golf breaks just can't reach.
