Masters 2015 final round gallery
Check out our gallery from an absorbing final round at Augusta
With no-one getting within three of Jordan Spieth, the final round was intriguing, if never quite nail-biting. Our Masters 2015 final round gallery awaits
Much happened, both good and bad, at Augusta yesterday as our Masters 2015 final round gallery shows...
Tiger and Rory
With both failing to capitalise on good shots early on, the much-hoped for charges never materialised for the Tiger and Rory wonder pairing, but they were still in good spirits as they walked down the 9th.
Tiger’s tree root shot on the 9th
Minutes later that all changed, when Tiger struck a tree root in the pine straw to the right of the 9th fairway, wincing in pain before apparently “popping the bone back in!”
Justin’s tree trouble on the 7th

Justin Rose attempted this ambitious recovery on the 7th, which didn’t work out too well, although a miracle shot moments later saved par, and very nearly went one better.
Justin’s miracle pitch on the 7th
And here is that shot – short-sided short right of the 7th, Justin used the slope of the green as a back stop with the ball rolling back down seemingly into the cup until veering right at the very last moment.
Phil Mickelson shows some new moves
It was a T2nd finish in the end for three-time champion Phil Mickelson, when Justin Rose missed his par putt on 18. Here he tries a novel way of steering the ball into the hole on the 7th.
Webb Simpson does a double-take
Webb Simpson is convinced he only played one ball into the 2nd…
Ian Poulter’s weekend charge
A suitably resplendent Ian Poulter played as well as anybody on the weekend, shooting two 67s to end up tied 6th alongside Paul Casey and Dustin Johnson.
A frustrating day for Tiger
The face says it all at the end after a disappointing 73, but Tiger would have had to shoot 60 on Sunday to tie Spieth!
Rory McIlroy on 18
As would Rory, who despite shooting an excellent 66 for a career-best 4th place Masters finish, clearly found it all a bit frustrating.
The final putt
Jordan Spieth’s final putt may only have been a slightly anti-climactic tap-in for bogey, but he wasn’t too bothered about that.
Jordan’s Green Jacket
Two-time champion Bubba Watson does the honours as Jordan Spieth becomes the second-youngest owner of a Green Jacket after his hugely impressive wire-to-wire victory.
