Masters-winning gear: Jordan Spieth's clubs
Jordan Spieth's winning 2015 US Masters bag includes a six-year-old putter
It's hard to believe, but Jordan Spieth's clubs at the 2015 US Masters didn't include a magic putter or ball. Instead he used 14 very obedient Titleist clubs
It may be hard to believe, but Jordan Spieth's clubs during his record setting Masters victory didn't include a magic putter.
Instead the 21-year-old used a very obedient Titleist Pro V1x golf ball and a Titleist Scotty Cameron 009 prototype putter.
The putter is particularly interesting as Spieth has used it since he was a 15-year-old. Why did he opt for a six-year-old putter? Because it was the same model Adam Scott and Geoff Ogilvy used when we watched them growing up.
His four Titleist Vokey SM5 wedges also rescued him over the four days at Augusta National, like his exceptional pitch shot on 18 on Saturday that rescued a par, or his pitch on 11 on Sunday when a bogey might have sent him into Amen Corner with doubts creeping in.
Here's a look at all of Jordan Spieth's clubs, which he used so well to shoot rounds of 64-66-70-70 to win his first Green Jacket:
