Nike Golf unveils new collections for the US Masters
Nike Golf reveals new technologies behind 2013 US Masters collection
Nike has revealed what their golfers will be wearing throughout this year's US Masters event.
Eight golfers will be wearing the Nike brand at Augusta, including Rory McIlroy, 2011 Masters Champion Charl Schwartzel and four-time Masters winner Tiger Woods.
The clothing features key technologies including laser perforations, no-sew technology and ultra-lightweight fabrications.
Merritt Richardson, Vice-President of Global Apparel and Footwear for Nike Golf, said: "We work with our athletes up to a year in advance to determine what styles and colours they prefer to compete in at a Major Championship.
"We share our newest innovations for the season with them and listen to their needs in terms of performance, comfort and style to ensure they are dressed to compete at their highest level."
Woods, who will be aiming for his fifth Masters title, will be sporting the new Tiger Woods collection. The polo shirts feature laser-perforated collars for increased ventilation and three of the four shirts will utilize the posture performance chassis to allow Woods an increased range of motion throughout his swing.
For the final round, Woods is scripted to wear his famous hyper red shirt, the colour he has won on the final day for each of his four victories here.
