Chris DiMarco
Nationality: American
Date of birth: August 23 1968
Place of birth: Huntington, New York
Turned pro: 1990
Last five Masters finishes: MC ('06), 2nd ('05), T6th ('04), W/D ('03), 12th ('02)
Ranked 26th in the world DiMarco is not in the sort of form that took him to a play-off against Tiger Woods for the 2005 title. In actual fact the New Yorker has not won a tournament on the PGA Tour since 2002 (Phoenix Open) ? but we think he is at least worth an each-way bet for the Masters.
Second, sixth and 12th within the space of five years represents an impressive set of results and he clearly enjoys the Augusta layout. If he can get his claw-putter stroke going during 2007 he could well be among the challengers on the final day.
