The 17-year-old New Zealander inspired this ‘two-letter word’ list after reaching the very pinnacle of the ladies’ game last week. The icing on the cake of an astonishing list of achievements that include winning her first LPGA event as a 15-year-old amateur.

Ted Oh

A Korean-born American who made a handful of PGA Tour starts in the mid to late 1990s. Recorded two top 10s in a Web.com tour career that came to an end in 2011.

James Oh

Californian who never quite delivered on the early promise of becoming the youngest player to qualify for the US Amateur in 1996 at 14 years, 4 months and 20 days. Won once on the Nationwide Tour in 2003 and played one full year on the PGA Tour in 2009.

Charlie Wi

The Korean, who won the 2006 Maybank Malaysian Open, has made the PGA Tour his home since 2007, recording five runner-up finishes but never quite getting over the line. Best season was 2010 when he finished 33^rd in the FedEx.

Mr Lu

Taiwanese Lu Liang-Huan was christened ‘Mr Lu’ after coming perilously close to winning The Open at Royal Birkdale in 1971 sporting a pork-pie hat. Finished runner-up to Lee Trevino there, but did amass 22 wins worldwide in a long career including the 1971 French Open.

Daniel Im

American who earned promotion to the main tour in 2013 after finishing 17^th on the Challenge Tour money list. Best finish of 7^th in last year’s Lyoness Open.

Byeong-hun An

Good Korean prospect who finished 3^rd in last year’s Challenge Tour rankings. Has already recorded a hole-in-one in Abu Dhabi and a 5^th place finish in Qatar this campaign.

Kevin Na

The notorious tour tortoise – a Korean-American – has one victory and many other strong finishes to his name in a solid PGA Tour career dating back to 2004.

Eun-Jung Yi

Korean who has played on the LPGA Tour since 2007. Beat Morgan Pressel in a play-off for the 2009 Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic, her only win to date.

Eun-Hee Ji

Another Korean who joined the LPGA Tour in 2007, and has since claimed two victories including the 2009 US Women’s Open where she pipped Candie Kung by a stroke.
