Patrick Rodgers could well be one of the most talented golfers on the PGA Tour yet to pick up a maiden win, with a strong collegiate career behind him and a number of close finishes since he turned pro. Below are some facts about his life and career to help you learn more.

1. Rodgers was born in Avon, Indiana on June 30, 1992.
2. He played on two Walker Cup teams in 2011 and 2013. In the 2011 loss, he won half a point from three matches, and then two years later he was on the winning US team. In that event he won two matches out of four.
3. In three years at Stanford, Rodgers equaled the all-time school record for wins held by Tiger Woods (11). In addition, he broke Woods' all-time scoring average record, finishing with a career scoring average of 70.32, besting Woods' mark of 70.96.
4. He won the 2014 Ben Hogan Award for being the nation's top amateur golfer, the same year he spent 16 weeks atop the World Amateur Golf Ranking. He would turn professional in 2014 as well.
5. Idolized Indiana Pacers great Reggie Miller and played basketball through his freshman year at Avon High School outside Indianapolis.
6. Since turning professional in 2014, Rodgers has registered one victory, on the Korn Ferry Tour, the 2015 Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship.

7. Rodgers has been unable to pounce on several opportunities to claim a first PGA Tour title. In May 2015, he finished T2 at the PGA Tour's Wells Fargo Championship after receiving a sponsor's exemption while still playing on what is now the Korn Ferry Tour. He came T3 at the 2016 Travelers Championship and led the the 2017 John Deere Classic by two shots heading into the final round before ultimately being pipped by Bryson DeChambeau.
8. He has twice been defeated in a playoff at a PGA Tour event. At the 2018 RSM Classic, Rodgers lost to Charles Howell III on the second extra hole after shooting 61-62 at the weekend. And in the 2023 Barracuda Championship, Rodgers fell to Akshay Bhatia.

9. Rodgers's wife is Jade Gordon, who is a British stunt coordinator and film assistant. The two became engaged on December 28, 2017 and married on May 26, 2019 at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in Miami, Florida.
10. Rodgers and Gordon have two children called Rafi and Rosie.
11. Rodgers follows the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers and St. Louis Cardinals. He also supports English Premier League club, Arsenal.

12. He appeared on EA Sports' Rory McIlroy PGA Tour game as a new golfer in 2015.
13. Rodgers' highest finish at a Major arrived in the 2023 PGA Championship when he secured a T29 result. He is yet to play The Masters or The Open Championship.
