Titleist has been announced as the number one ball at the Open Championship - a record the brand has owned since records began.
This week, the majority of the field will be using Titleist balls when they take on Royal Liverpool from July 17-20.
It follows similar success in both the Masters and US Open - the year's previous two majors - plus leading amateur events like the British Amateur Championship, re-enforcing Titleist's position as the number one ball across all levels of the game.
Indeed, some 228 players opted for Titleist at the Amateur Championship, more that six times the nearest competitor.
In June, Titleist was the number one ball at the US Open for the 66th consecutive year.
Thus far in 2014, more than 13, 595 players have teed up with Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls across the major worldwide professional tours. By contrast, the nearest competitor stands at 2,195.
