Find out where you can follow all the action from St Andrews this week
The Open at St Andrews will get underway this week, with a 156-man field set to compete for one of the most sought after prizes in golf.
Last year, the Claret Jug was lifted by Rory McIlroy, however the Northern Irishman ruptured his ankle ligaments last week and will not be fit to defend his title.
Jordan Spieth, fresh from winning the John Deere Classic, has won the last two majors and will be among the favourites to win his first Open when the tournament starts on Thursday.
Justin Rose and Dustin Johnson will also be expected to be posting rounds in the red this week, with both looking for their first win at the year's third major.
Rickie Fowler will also be aiming to win his first major after an impressive showing at the Scottish Open this weekend. Fowler won the Players Championship, widely regarded as the unofficial fifth major, in May and will come into the event in strong form.
Among the other high profile names in the field is Tiger Woods. The American recently shot an opening round 80 at the US Open, but has good memories of St Andrews having won his first Open there in 2000.
