13 - The amount of bunkers that have been removed from the Royal Liverpool course since 2006, leaving a total of 82.
577 - The longest hole on the Royal Liverpool rota, the 16th hole is 577 yards yet it also played the easiest during the 2006 Open Championship.
12 - Following this year's Open Championship, Royal Liverpool will have hosted the prestigious tournament 12 times. (1897, 1902, 1907, 1913, 1924, 1930, 1936, 1947, 1956, 1967, 2006, 2014)
9 - The number of links courses in Scotland or England that the event takes place on. Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland however has hosted the championship in 1951 and has been announced to return there in 2019.
72 - The number of holes competitors have to play in the tournament, with a cut after 36 holes that limits the tournament to the top 70 players and ties.
300 - The number of golf courses that Harry Colt, who redesigned Royal Liverpool in the early 20th century, designed amongst his lifetime.

32 - Jack Nicklaus has made 32 final day appearances at the tournament, the most in Open Championship history.
269 - Tiger Woods completed the course at St Andrews in 2000 with a score of 269, giving him a total of 19 under par, the lowest total in relation to par since 1963.
5250000 - Total fund for the 2013 Open Championship with Phil Mickelson receiving £945,000.
50 - The top 50 players on the Official World Golf Ranking are given invitations to the Open Championship.
10 - The top 10 finishers from the 2013 Open Championship also automatically qualify for the 2014 Open Championship at Hoylake.
