1. Keith Mitchell's middle name is McKendree.
2. Mitchell was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on January 7, 1992 and currently lives in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
3. Mitchell was introduced to the game by his father, who also gave Keith the idea of wearing a visor on the course. Mitchell's mother, Cynthia, plans girls trips to his tournaments with her best friends, who have all known him his entire life. The members of the group, who call themselves the "Auntorage," travel to tournaments every few months and wear matching hats.
4. He attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga - the same school that Harris English, Stephan Jaeger and Luke List all went to.
5. Mitchell played college golf at the University of Georgia and earned All-American honors in 2012. He graduated with a degree in Business and Real Estate.
6. He joined the PGA Tour Latinoamerica in 2015 and played in 14 events with five top-10 finishes.

7. His sister, Brindley, attended the University of St. Andrews in Scotland from 2009 to 2013.
8. Mitchell joined the PGA Tour in 2018 and his first and only PGA Tour victory came at the 2019 Honda Classic. He has since endured several near-misses, including at the 2024 Sanderson Farms Championship where he three-putted on the last to end T3rd.
9. He bought a 1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief and has been gradually restoring it while at home in St. Simons Island, with the help of fellow Tour professional Michael Thompson.
10. As well as loving food and considering himself an amateur cook and professional eater, Mitchell is also a keen fisher and likes to go fly-fishing, especially.
11. Mitchell is married to a woman called Claire Watson.
12. Mitchell knows Peyton Manning well after first meeting him as a four-year-old. He partnered with Manning and Andy Roddick at an event held at Sweetens Cove, an award-winning nine-hole public golf course outside of his hometown of Chattanooga.
13. His best finish at a Major was T20th at the 2023 US Open.
14. He has earned over $15.5 million on the PGA Tour since joining in 2018.
15. Mitchell is known as a particularly sharp dresser and picked up the moniker 'Cashmere Keith' as a result.
16. In June 2022, Mitchell was asked about a potential $20 million switch to the LIV Golf League, to which he replied: "No chance. If the LIV tour was such a good model, guys would go for free or for a lot less."
