Emily Pedersen is one of Europe's top female golfers, with the Danish player winning the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit, five LET titles and appearing in multiple Solheim Cup teams.

Emily Kristine Pedersen facts:
1. Pedersen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark.
2. She started playing golf at 13, getting into the game relatively late compared to many of her peers.
3. Sport runs in the Pedersen family. Emily Kristine’s father, Jesper, used to be a professional footballer for Danish side Naestved IF. He is now a coach.
4. She had lots of success as an amateur including wins at the 2013 Spanish Ladies Amateur and International European Ladies Amateur. Her biggest win was the 2014 British Ladies Amateur, where she beat Belgium's Leslie Cloots 3&1 in the final at Royal St George's.
5. She represented Europe twice at the Junior Ryder Cup in 2012 and 2014. She also played in the 2013 Junior Solheim Cup.

6. Unlike many of her peers, she opted against playing college golf in the US and instead turned professional at the age of 18.
7. She won the Den Gyldne Golfbold (Danish Golfer of the Year award) as an amateur in 2013 and again as a pro in 2020.
8. Pedersen had success immediately after turning pro in 2015, finishing 2nd twice on the Ladies European Tour before winning her maiden title at the Hero Women's Indian Open.
9. She won the Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year award for 2015.
10. Her second pro title came during the pandemic in 2020, when she won on the ECCO Tour in Denmark in a mixed event. She was one of nine females in the 82-person field, and she beat the likes of Oliver Suhr, Rasmus Hojgaard and Nanna Koerstz Madsen on the final day.
11. She had to wait almost five years for her second victory on the LET, which came at the 2020 Czech Ladies Open.
12. She went on to win four times on the LET in 2020 including three in a row in November, becoming the first player in over 30 years to achieve a three-peat.
13. The final of the three wins, at the Spanish Open, came with her father on the bag. “He got me into golf and he has been a big support the whole way. He kept me going when I was down and it is really big for me to have him here and win this amazing trophy," she said.
14. Thanks to her incredible four-win season, Pedersen secured the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit and Player of the Year titles.
15. Pedersen played for Europe in the 2017, 2021, 2023 and 2024 Solheim Cups.
16. She made the second hole-in-one in Solheim Cup history in 2023 when she aced the par-3 12th at Finca Cortesin.

17. She earned her 2022 LPGA Tour card via Q-school.
18. Her best Major finish is a T11, which came at the 2020 AIG Women's Open at Carnoustie.
19. Her boyfriend Olly Brett is a professional caddie. He was previously on the bag of Danielle Kang and has also caddied for Lilia Vu.
20. Pedersen represented Denmark at the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
