Celine Boutier facts:
1. Celine Boutier was born on November 10, 1993 in Clamart, France, a suburb in the south-west of Pais.
2. Her parents are from Thailand.
3. She started playing golf at the age of seven.
4. Boutier attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina where she starred on the golf team for four years. She was on the ACC Honor Roll for all four years, helped the Blue Devils win a national title in 2014, and also won the WGCA Player of the Year Honors in the same year. She majored in psychology along with a minor in economics and a markets and management certificate
5. She was the world's no.1-ranked female amateur golfer before turning professional.

6. She has a twin sister, who doesn't play golf, called Christie and a younger brother called Kevin.

7. In 2011, she competed on the Junior Solheim Cup alongside other well-known players Charley Hull, Leona Maguire and Amy Boulden. The Europeans had a 7-5 lead going into the singles but the Americans came back to tie 12-12 and retain the Cup.
8. She won the Women's Amateur Championship in 2015 at Portstewart in Northern Ireland, where she beat Linnea Strom 4&3 in the final.
9. She turned professional in 2016.
10. Boutier won her first two professional titles on the Symetra Tour in 2017 (the LPGA Tour's feeder circuit).
11. Her maiden Ladies European Tour title came at the 2017 Sanya Open in China, where she was victorious by four strokes.
12. She won her first LPGA Tour title at the 2019 ISPS Handa Vic Open in Australia.
13. She went on to win her maiden Major title on home soil at the 2023 Evian Championship, becoming the first French winner.
14. She won again the very next week at the Women's Scottish Open.
15. She moved up to a career-high 3rd in the world after her back-to-back wins.
16. Boutier went 4-0-0 in her Solheim Cup debut at Gleneagles in 2019, where Europe won 14.5-13.5.
17. She also played in the 2021 and 2023 Solheim Cups.
18. Boutier is a PXG staff player.
19. She represented France at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and again at Paris 2024.
20. She has won over $7m on the LPGA Tour.

His golfing highlights are making albatross on the 9th hole on the Hotchkin Course at Woodhall Spa, shooting an under-par round, playing in the Aramco Team Series on the Ladies European Tour and making his one and only hole-in-one at the age of 15 - a long time ago now!
