BRYSON DECHAMBEAU FACTS
1. Bryson DeChambeau was born on September 16, 1993 in Modesto, California.
2. He lives in Grapevine, Texas.
3. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas and studied physics.
4. His middle names are James and Aldrich. DeChambeau's yardage book cover has the initials B.A.D on.
5. He is known as the 'Golfing Scientist' and 'Mad Scientist' due to his unique approach to the game.
6. All of his irons and wedges are 37.5 inches long, the same length a seven iron, and they all have the same lie and bounce angles. This is to help him with his one-plane swing.

7. He is only the third man in history to win an NCAA Division 1 title, the US Amateur Championship and the US Open after Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.
8. He is reportedly dating Lilia Schneider, a college golfer at Indianapolis' Marian University. The couple’s relationship became apparent when they were pictured together at LIV Golf's Chicago event in 2023.

21. Amid speculation in February 2022 that DeChambeau would be joining LIV Golf, he released a statement committing to the PGA Tour. Four months later, it was confirmed that he had joined LIV Golf, with his deal reportedly worth $125 million.
22. He is captain of LIV Golf's Crushers GC team, which also features Anirban Lahiri, Charles Howell III and Paul Casey.
23. DeChambeau won his first tournament on LIV Golf in August 2023, which included a new tour record 58 in his third and final round. The round also tied the record for lowest ever round in an elite-level men’s pro event.
