Druh Belts Official Licensee for 39th Ryder Cup
Druh Belts & Buckles will produce a range of hand-made belts for the 39th Ryder Cup at Medinah Country Club after reaching an agreement with Ryder Cup Europe
Druh Belts & Buckles has been chosen as an Official Licensee of belts and buckles for the forthcoming Ryder Cup match at Chicago's Medinah Country Club from September 28-30.
Druh recently secured an agreement with Ryder Cup Europe to produce a range of hand-made belts featuring the 2012 Ryder Cup logo, which are available through www.rydercup.com/shop.
Following the Ryder Cup, Druh will also produce a range of belts, featuring the Harry Vardon insignia, for inclusion in the European Tour's merchandise range.
The news comes after a successful six months for the company. Thomas Bjorn and Paul McGinley - both brand ambassadors - were named as two of Jose Maria Olazabal's four vice-captains, and Druh belt wearers have recorded a plethora of victories worldwide.
Lee Westwood and Thongchai Jaidee triumphed on the European Tour, with Chris Wood winning for the first time as a professional at the Thailand Open.
On the Seniors' circuit, Gary Wolstenholme won the Benahavis Senior Masters and the Mallorca Senior Open, whilst Roger Chapman wrote himself into the history books by becoming the first Englishman to win both the US Senior Open Championship and the US Senior PGA Championship.
Earlier in the year, Druh added Sun Young Yoo to its list of brand ambassadors, and the Korean triumphed just weeks later at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, the first female major of the year.
