Medinah Country Club hole-by-hole: hole 12
A hole-by-hole guide to Medinah Country Club's #3 course in Chicago, host of the 39th Ryder Cup from September 28-30

Hole 12 Par 4 476 yards
The 12th is considered as one of the best par 4s at Medinah. The driving area is generous, but anything missed left will risk being blocked out by a big oak tree guarding the left hand side of the green. Approaches will be played with a mid-iron to a left-to-right sloping green, with a sharp drop off area and pond to the right.
