M1 Pro trolley
Golf Monthly Senior Staff Writer Paul O'Hagan tests the new Motocaddy M1 Pro trolley
GM verdict: As soon as you get the M1 PRO out of the box you’ll be amazed at its compact size. The designers have been able to make it this small by creating an all-new chassis. The modern look is great, particularly the GPS holder, which fits into the design perfectly, and is no longer just an add-on gadget. The handle is stable, and the ability to simply clip on extras without an accessory station is excellent. But... putting the trolley up and down takes a bit of practice. PGA pro verdict Once you’ve practised the five-point assembly process a number of times, this product was very easy to use. It was both reliable and quiet. There are some welcome new features, including a built-in accessory station and device cradle, plus the ability to fold the trolley down with the battery still held in its tray. On the course, the M1 PRO proved to be smooth and simple to operate, and the high-quality double-stem frame felt solid and strong. Test Team Rating: Performance: 4.5/5 Visual appeal: 4.5/5 Innovation: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Overall: 4.5/5
