Nike has always been a leading brand in terms of the best golf shoes on the market, creating a wide range of quality options between the affordable, mid-range and premium golf shoe categories, and the Infinity G shoe must surely be among the best in any of them - especially in the best golf shoes under $100 arena.

After several months of testing in all weathers - aided by the British summer - and many improving rounds of golf, we have formulated a comprehensive understanding and opinion on the Nike Infinity G.

While the Nike Infinity G golf shoes are among my absolute favorites for several reasons which I will attempt to explain shortly, the one slight downside is that I feel they could be improved on aesthetically. The black version (white is also available) features a recycled-plastic material that lacks the outstanding quality of a premium leather, clearly, and doesn't help it to choose between elegant simplicity and brave eccentricity. That being said, aesthetics are subjective as well so many people will like the look of these trainer-style shoes, and the budget price will also make them a lot more attractive too.

Beyond what is barely even an issue for those looking to purchase, the list of positives on the Nike Infinity G's side is impressive. Firstly, the sheer comfort of these golf shoes straight out of the box was incredible. Having tested a different pair of Nike shoes before, this was not a given, therefore I was delighted to lace up what felt like slippers almost instantly.

Not only did the running-shoe build really aid their level of comfort, the sole ensured that no matter the firmness of the terrain I was walking on, neither my feet or lower legs ever ached in the slightest.

From a breathability point of view, the Nike Infinity G shoes absolutely overdelivered compared to what I'd expected. With other options, my feet have been doused in sweat at the end of another tough 18 holes, traipsing around the property to find yet another wayward drive. But not with these shoes on. The drives still lacked accuracy, of course, but the Nike Infinity G consistently held up extremely well on warmer days.

Plus, during the handful of rounds where it rained or had been raining previously, my feet were almost completely dry still, aiding them as a legitimate option among the best waterproof golf shoes.

Regarding grip, these spikeless golf shoes passed with flying colors on a dry day, as you'd expect. Because the bottom is ergonomically efficient and at quite a uniform level for the most part, you never feel like your stance is compromised either.

And when taking them out in wet and windy weather, I am pleased to report they offered me more than enough control through the ground, never slipping or sliding when I tried to climb into a long-range shot. Plus, once you're done playing golf, removing the grass from between the rubber sole required very little effort at all.

Overall, I cannot recommend the Nike Infinity G golf shoes enough. The comfort and practicality must be among the leading options anywhere on the market, and the marginal drawback aesthetically is unlikely to be enough to dissuade me from purchasing a pair in the future. Speaking of which the price, you can get a pair for under $100, means many golfers should consider these as their next golf shoe option.
