Why you can trust Golf Monthly
Combining the classic design of one of Nike’s most recognisable shoe shapes with golf shoe technology and performance, the Nike Women’s Blazer shoe is an innovative product.
Nike Women’s Blazer shoe RRP: £90
Nike has long been at the forefront of sports shoe manufacturing and, in recent years, they have taken all their expertise and knowledge and applied this to golf shoes. Their products successfully blend style with performance – not only are you well supported and comfortable on the fairways but you also feel you’re making a visual statement.
Nike introduced the Blazer as a basketball shoe way back in 1972. Since then it has become an iconic design and has been adapted on a number of occasions, transforming from canvas high-top to leather mid-top and a casual low-top. It’s a proven look and it has now been used to create this innovative golf shoe.
The Nike Women’s Blazer shoe features flexible leather uppers that have a one-year limited waterproof guarantee and will keep you dry and comfortable on course.
It’s a funky design and is available in either plain, or more daring colours – look out for University Gold/sail/black with its animal print finish, and the camouflage swoosh on the Hyper Pink/white/sequoia (as pictured) … pretty neat.
The shoe’s Phylon midsole is flexible and lightweight, while the free inspired outsole is lightweight and naturally flexible, yet highly supportive.
The flex grooves and traction pods on the outsole should provide good traction in all but the most slippery conditions while the higher top finish will provide excellent support around the heel and ankle.
Overall, the Nike Women’s Blazer shoe delivers a bold statement but it backs it up with comfort and performance. Supportive and breathable, it will keep you comfortable and stable in all but the most severe weathers.
