MD Golf Seve Icon Forged irons review

A good-looking iron at address with plenty of feedback on offer, particularly considering the impressive price for a forged set. The cavity does not look as good as the view at address. PGA Pro verdict Looks and finish are second to none, based on a classic blade, but with added forgiveness. As you would expect they were demanding of quality striking, but the short irons felt beautiful. A difficult part of the market, but very good value (John Jacobs).
Why you can trust Golf Monthly
A fully forged design incorporates clean lines and a compact head, which the better player will appreciate. A shallow cavity adds to the forgiveness on offer, but the focus is feel and workability.
The MD Golf Seve Icon Forged irons will suit confident ball-strikers who don't want to pay big money for a forged set.
The set of irons, RRP £299.99 (steel) , includes 3-PW.
