Callaway Hyper X driver
Golf Monthly Verdict

Solid feel, great flight and a more compact look than many 460cc drivers, perhaps due to its deep face and less “stretched” head shape. One or two recent Callaway models have failed to hit the right note at impact for some, but sound is right back on track here. Where next? Why you can trust Golf Monthly Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test.

The Hyper X boasts the largest effective hitting area of any all-titanium Callaway driver, for improved distance and ball speed on mis-hits. The X-Sole design should make it easy to align at address. Face angles are 1 degree closed in the standard model but 0.5 degrees open in the Tour model to offer better players greater scope for workability.
