Olympic Games Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets
Suzann Petterson 5 points each way at 20/1 – We know how much the Scandinavians have been looking forward to the Olympics and I am backing the Norwegian to emulate Henrik Stenson and challenge for the medals. A consistent performer she will be gunning for Rio glory.
Charley Hull 3 points each way at 40/1 – Perhaps has been feeling the pressure of late with the Women’s British Open being played at her home course, Woburn, a few weeks ago. With that out of the way I expect her to shine on this biggest of stages.
Azahara Munoz 1 point each way at 80/1 – Has had three top 10s on the LPGA Tour this season and is another extremely talented golfer who could do very well this week. Think her odds are a tad long to be ignored.
Julieta Granada 1 point each way at 300/1 – The Paraguayan has amassed over $4million of earnings on the LPGA Tour, but is having a torrid season. The reason I am picking her is that she is from Paraguay, which shares a border with Brazil, and she was the country’s flag bearer at the Olympic Opening ceremony. She also has medalled before in other multi-sport tournaments - winning gold at the 2014 South American Games and bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
