A guide to the twelfth hole of the Rio Olympic Golf Course ahead of the 2016 Olympics in August
Rio Olympic Golf Course Hole by Hole: Hole 12
Hole 12 - Par 4 - 510 yards
Another long par-4 with this one weighing in at 510-yards and heading towards the shore line.
It's a beast of a hole and a can of spinach before you hit your drive here wouldn’t go a miss.
The good news is, apart from the two bunkers to the left and right of the landing zone, there are no other bunkers to negotiate on this hole.
This green is the only one protected by trees from the reserve that the course backs onto.

This will be one of the easiest holes to putt on, there is movement but not as severe as some of the earlier holes, but after making this green in two the players deserve a bit of a break!
