World of Golf New Malden has re-opened following major renovation work and now boasts premium state-of-the-art facilities
World of Golf New Malden has re-opened following major renovation work and now boasts premium state-of-the-art facilities.
The two-tier driving range now has 60 covered and heated bays, which each contain new automated power tees, and fairway and light-rough effect.
World of Golf has also invested in new target greens, which feature the latest technology to create a true ball landing.
The range also offers first-class tuition for all standards of golfers, with a team of six PGA qualified-instructors and three master teaching professionals.
These instructors offer individual and group lessons and utilise the latest video coaching studios to help golfers improve.
"Everyone on the team here is incredibly excited to be opening the doors to the all-new range, with its fantastic new targets, state-of-the-art range technology and facilities," said Grant Wright, World of Golf New Malden's CEO.
"We have worked really hard to make sure the range is designed to offer a truly exceptional golfing experience to all players."

World of Golf has also appointed IMG as a strategic advisor for the re-launch.
"With our experience and skill set, we hope to support the new owners in making this truly a destination of choice for families, beginners and golf enthusiasts."
Approximately 14 million balls are hit each year at World of Golf New Malden.

Nick is a 12-handicap golfer and his favourite courses include Old Head, Sunningdale New, Penha Longha, Valderrama and Bearwood Lakes.
