Tour stars to give expert tips at Belfry open day
Richard Finch and Danny Willett are among the European Tour players who will lead instruction clinics at the Belfry open day on 5 March
On Saturday March 5th, four-time Ryder Cup venue, The Belfry, will welcome several high-profile European Tour professionals to their free-of-charge open day where golfers of all levels will be able to receive tuition from the stars.
Among the European Tour players attending will be two-time European Tour winner Richard Finch, former Dutch Open champion David Lynn, ex-world number one amateur Danny Willett and Gary Boyd, who recorded an impressive rookie season on Tour last year.
The stars will lead golfers of all abilities through instruction clinics at the Belfry's PGA Golf Academy - which boasts the largest demo stock of golf equipment in Europe. The golfers will also make themselves available for question and answer sessions.
Gary Silcock, Director of Golf at the Belfry, believes the benefits of the open day are clear: "Visiting golfers will have a one-off chance to learn game-changing tips from players who are performing on a global stage."
The open day will feature Demo Teams representing every leading golf brand; Cleveland/Srixon, PING, Callaway, Nike, Titleist, Cobra, Wilson Staff, TaylorMade and Mizuno. The teams will provide on-site custom-fitting services for their latest top of the range equipment.
A series of tuition clinics will take place in and around the Academy, including 'longest drive' and 'nearest the pin' competitions hosted by the Belfry's 20 qualified PGA Professionals.
All visitors who attend the open day will receive free membership worth £50, which entitles golfers to discount range balls for the entire year.
