Royal Birkdale Golf Club hosts this year's Ricoh Women's British Open, which is played from 29th July - 1st August, 2010 and last year's winner, Catriona Matthew from Scotland, will be looking to defend her title against an exciting field boasting the world's top players. The LPGA's newest major winner Yani Tseng, European number one Suzann Pettersen, American Michelle Wie and South Korean sensation, Jiyai Shin are just some of the star names that will grace the north west in an event that promises to be one of the highlights in this year's golfing calendar. One lucky winner will play in the Pro-Am on Tuesday July 27 and enjoy a lunch in the clubhouse before teeing off alongside the professionals in the afternoon. The day ends with the official prize giving reception. The winner must have a maximum handicap of 18 for men and 24 for women. The winner will also get a pair of season tickets to the tournament and three runners up will receive a pair of any one-day tickets.
