Win a round of golf with Rory McIlroy: Competitions update
We update you on our recent competitions and reveal the winner of the Galvin Green gear worth over £1200, plus news on May's chance to win a round of golf with Rory McIlroy.

Golf Monthly’s May Issue contains another great prize as we team up with Titleist and FootJoy to offer a once-in-a-lifetime prize for two lucky winners to play with the world’s best young golfing talent, Rory McIlroy.
The winners will tee it up with Rory in the BMW PGA Championship official Pro-Am on Wednesday May 20 at Wentworth, and will be treated like Tour players for the day. Our winners will also receive FootJoy shoes, glove and shirt as well as a dozen of the new 2009 Titleist Pro V1 golf balls, and will be featured in a future Issue of Golf Monthly. Be sure to keep an eye out.
Our March Issue featured some excellent competitions. To win the Galvin Green bundle worth over £1200, we asked you to state why you felt Galvin Green provided the best golf clothing. We received hundreds of excellent entries, but there could only be one winner. Richard Hughes won with his entry, "It always delivers on performance whatever the weather."
There were a number of similar entries, but we sided with this wonderfully succinct answer that Galvin Green would happily stand by. However, five runners-up won themselves a new Bond Windstopper worth £159. Thank you for all your efforts.

Don’t forget there are chances to win every week with Golf Monthly in our website quiz. All you need to do is demonstrate your golf knowledge and take on the GM experts and if you’re right, you could win a great prize to be selected by the editor. Last week’s winner, Steven Tait from Cleveland, received a dozen Srixon Z-Star golf balls, not a bad prize as we head into the new season.
Good luck!
