Wilson Golf celebrates Lawrie victory
Paul Lawrie's Commercialbank Qatar Masters victory gives Wilson Golf another European Tour victory with its Wilson Staff FG Tour irons
Wilson Golf has claimed another victory on the European Tour after Paul Lawrie's four-shot win in the Commericialbank Qatar Masters.
The Scotsman fired a flawless 65 in his final round to see off the challenges of Jason Day and Peter Hanson, and claim his second Qatar Masters title.
The 1999 Open champion, who re-signed with Wilson Golf two years ago, has been resurgent since switching to the Wilson Staff FG Tour irons.
Last year he claimed his first title in nine years at the Open de Andalucia and won over €1 million in the Race to Dubai.
After his victory in Qatar, Lawrie said: "I don't think I can play much better than that. When you've got a chance to win a tournament you don't sleep as well the night before and things go racing through your mind.
"You've got to get back to basics and I did that. I hit some nice shots coming in. I've been playing well for a long, long time, but it's just nice to come out one ahead and shoot seven-under-par."
Wilson Golf's business director for Europe, Doug Wright, said: "We're very pleased to see Paul winning so soon after his excellent year in 2011 and delighted that it captures another victory with the Wilson Staff FG Tour irons.

"As Paul says, he's been playing very well for a while now and we hope to see him continue this fine form for the rest of the season."
Lawrie's win also meant magnetic wrist products supplier, Bioflow, for who the Scotsman is a staff player, recorded its first victory of 2012.
Managing director of Bioflow, Richard Corsie MBE, said: "We're delighted for both Paul and Bioflow. When we first started working with Paul he was 144 in the world rankings and now he's jumped nearly a hundred places. He's a great ambassador for Bioflow."
