WGC-Cadillac Championship golf betting guide
WGC-Cadillac Championship golf betting guide as the world's best tee it up for the second WGC of the season. Here are Golf Monthly's tips this week
It's probably fair to say that the players will have one eye on The Masters now, which is just a few weeks away. Before we look at the betting for Augusta, we have a massive World Golf Championship to look forward to and it's exciting times for betting with a number of players coming into form at such a great time.

New world number one Rory McIlroy starts as favourite at 6/1, no real surprise given his amazing performance at the Honda Classic last week. We're ruling McIlroy out at that price, especially given the demands that would have been put on his time since Florida's epic win.
There are so many good players in form this week that getting a good price is difficult. Tiger Woods is 7s and another we'll be opposing given his final-round 62 in the Honda Classic contained two eagles. That's not in keeping with his performance on the greens of late and may have papered over a few cracks that he is still working on.
Instead we've scrolled down Ladbrokes' book and like the look of Charl Schwartzel at 25/1. He'll have his Masters defence in mind and seems to playing his well into form at the right time. Doral should suit the South African's game perfectly. There are fewer better ball strikers in the game and he's capable of putting some super birdie streaks together.
Elsewhere, Steve Stricker is tempting at 40/1, although we're not convinced that his putting is reliable as it once was.

A few others names leap out in the betting. Keegan Bradley continues to impress and can be backed at 40/1, as can Justin Rose who is enjoying a decent bit of form in his 'home' State.
However, our third and final pick is Graeme McDowell at 50/1. Again, he's a man looking like he's more at ease with his game again and he'll be keen to grab some of the attention back from his fellow countryman, Rory McIlroy.
