WGC – Bridgestone Invitational golf betting tips
This week the world’s best players have congregated in Ohio for the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational.
There are several big headlines around this event, Rory McIlroy is still sidelined through injury, while Jordan Spieth could go to number one in the world if he triumphs at the Firestone Country Club and the USPGA Championship starts next week.
Last year McIlroy shot a final round of 66 to win by two shots from Sergio Garcia.
In the Northern Irishman’s absence Spieth is the short-priced favourite at 11/2 with Australian’s Jason Day and Adam Scott (14/1) next up.
Check out Jason Day's swing sequence below

The course is a bit of a beast being by far the longest par 70 that isn’t a Major the player’s take on this year. It will favour guys who can get it from tee to green unscathed.

WGC – Bridgestone Invitational golf betting tips advised bets
Hideki Matsuyama £2 each way at 28/1 with Bet365 Continuing to play very solid golf he currently is on a run of 11 consecutive Top 25s worldwide and also managed to finish top 25 in his last two starts here. Is superb from tee to green and I expect to perform very well here this week.
Matt Kuchar £2 Each way at 40/1 with Betway The American is usually a very reliable pick, has finished top 15 in his last four starts , plus he has four Top-20 finishes in the his last five performances in this event. Has the game to suit this week.
Robert Streb £1 each way at 125/1 with Coral Although this will be his debut at this event has had plenty of recent success to say that these odds may be a tad long. Is 10th in Greens In Regulation on the PGA Tour. Will have enjoyed being in the running at the Open at St Andrews recently and will want to figure again come Sunday.
