We’re asking for votes in four categories - Golfer of the Year, Shot of the Year, Breakthrough Performance of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to the Game - with three lucky readers each winning £100 of Foremost vouchers to redeem online at www.foremostgolf.com
The nominations are as follows....
Golfer of the Year:
Jordan Spieth - Won the Masters and US Open at Chambers Bay in a prolific spell, before becoming world no. 1 after his performance at the USPGA Championship. Zach Johnson - He claimed his first Open Championship at St Andrews, beating Louis Oosthuizen in a play-off. Danny Willett - An impressive showing at the Open was followed by a win at the Omega European Masters. Jason Day - Finally delivered on his potential by lifting the USPGA Championship trophy by four shots.
Shot of the Year:

Branden Grace - The South African sent a tee shot to the 320 yard par 4 16th at the Qatar Masters to within five feet of the hole. He would go on to win the tournament.
Jason Day - Holed an incredible 50 ft putt on his way to lifting his first major trophy at the USPGA Championship this month.
Rickie Fowler - The American sent a 239 yard approach to within a couple of feet on the 16th at the Players Championship, allowing him a simple eagle.
Jordan Spieth - On his way to his second major title, Spieth set a birdie chance on 16 at Chambers Bay way out left and then watched it break back brilliantly into the hole. He raised his putter defiantly to the delight of the crowd.
Breakthrough performance of the year:
Andy Sullivan - Won the Joburg Open and South African Open in the space of two months. James Morrison - A consistent performer on the European Tour, Morrison won the Open de Espana and finished T20 at the Open Championship. Byeong-hun An- Won the BMW PGA Championship in May and has three other top 10 finishes this year. David Lingmerth- Beat Justin Rose in a play-off at the Memorial Tournament and has finished in the top 10 three times in his last five appearances.
Outstanding Contribution to the Game:
Paul Lawrie - Continues to run the Paul Lawrie Foundation, inspiring and supporting young golfers. Miguel Angel Jimenez - Not only a character, but still able to compete at the top of the game, finishing T2 at the BMW PGA Championship and Open de Espana. Peter Dawson- Steps down as Chief Executive of the R&A having been in charge for 16 years, overseeing a number of changes. George O'Grady - Leaves his role as Chief Executive of the European Tour after spending over 40 years there in some capacity.

Nick Bonfield joined Golf Monthly in 2012 after graduating from Exeter University and earning an NCTJ-accredited journalism diploma from News Associates in Wimbledon. He is responsible for managing production of the magazine, sub-editing, writing, commissioning and coordinating all features across print and online. Nick has been an avid golf fan since the age of ten and became obsessed with the professional game after watching Mike Weir and Shaun Micheel win The Masters and PGA Championship respectively in 2003.
