Transitions Championship: golf betting tips - Advised bets
Paul Krishnamurty gives us his betting tips for the Transitions Championship in Florida where a strong field is lining up in the final weeks before the US Masters. Make sure you take note and cash in.
Others who came in for serious consideration in this bigger price range include Chad Campbell, Bart Bryant and Heath Slocum. All can boast the odd snippet of recent form, and all would appear to have the ideal course set-up. Likewise, I could see Matt Kuchar going close on a course where he's prospered before, while the two Aussies that never seem able to get their head over the line first; Matthew Goggin and Nick O'Hern; look perfect for Copperhead and liable to register another high finish. My final selection is TROY MATTESON, who always seems to come alive in the Sunshine State. Earlier in the year, I advised Matteson on the strength of some very impressive greens in regulation figures. Though his 2009 results can't yet match the consecutive top-7 finishes registered at the end of the 2008 season in this state, Matteson has been playing better than results suggest. On more than one occasion, including last week in Puerto Rico, he's looked a live contender at halfway only to blot his copybook towards the finish. This return to his favourite part of the world could well pay dividends now. Even besides last autumn, Matteson's record in Florida is very impressive, including a win and a second in 2006. Moreover, he finished runner-up in this event last year, and ninth previously in 2006. Good Luck! ADVISED BETS TRANSACTIONS CHAMPIONSHIP
