Tour round-up: SAS Masters and Wyndham Championship
There were Swedish celebrations on both the European and PGA Tour this week with victories for Peter Hanson and Carl Pettersson.

SAS Masters
Arlandastad Golf, Stockholm, Sweden
August 14-18, par 70, 6,835 yards
Peter Hanson became the first Swede in ten years to win the SAS Masters finishing one shot ahead of Nick Dougherty and Pelle Edberg.
Despite two bogeys on the last three holes Hanson held on to claim his second victory on the European Tour. The 266,660 in prize money gives the 30-year-old an outside chance of qualifying for the Ryder Cup after moving into 17th place in the Euro points list. As a result the Swede will play in this week's KLM Open in Holland rather than taking a week off.
"I'd thought my chance was gone but you never know in golf what can happen," said Hanson.

"It's a long chance and I'll really need another good week, in fact I'll probably need to win again but at least I've given myself a chance now."
Englishman Nick Dougherty finished tied for second despite tweaking his back the night before the final round. The 132,000 in prize money moves him closer to an automatic Ryder Cup spot despite remaining in 14th spot on the points list.

Wyndham Championship
Sedgefield Country Club, North Carolina
August 14-18, par 70, 7,117 yards
Carl Pettersson claimed his first PGA Tour event in two years with victory in the Wyndham Championship.
The Swede finished two ahead of Scott MaCarron in his adopted hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina. Dropped shots at the 10th and 11th threatened to ruin Pettersson's chances, particularly after McCarron completed an impressive front nine of 32. Pettersson then fought back brilliantly with three birdies in four holes and both men finished with final rounds of 68.
Victory for the Swede will have captured the attention of European Ryder Cup captain Nick Faldo. Petterson has lived in the US since the age of 15 but made it clear that he would love to represent Europe in the Ryder Cup.
"I know I'm Swedish but I really do feel American, to be honest with you, but my heritage is European and I would love to play on Nick's team and I know all the European an guys on the team," said Pettersson.
"I used to play on the European Tour and I know all the guys on the American team. I might be a little different but I'm going to be playing hard for Europe if I make the team."
A final round of 63 completed an impressive week for Scot Martin Laird who recorded his third top 25 finish of the season.
