Tour Championship golf betting guide
Golf Monthly betting tipster Tom Clarke gives his thoughts on who will do well this weekend on the PGA Tour in this Tour Championship golf betting guide
The biggest prize in golf will be decided this weekend as the FedEx CUp playoffs come to a finale at The Tour Championship by Coca Cola in contested.
A small 30-man field will take on the East Lake Golf Course in Georgia.
This is reflected in the markets as Tiger Woods is a very skinny 5/1 and a whole host of players under 20s.
However I still feel there is a bit of value out there if you look for it from the right angle.
Phil Mickelson at 16/1 with Ladbrokes. Phil has not played his best in the last few weeks, and that is why he is at this price. However he has won twice at East Lake course.
Luke Donald at 20/1 with Ladbrokes. Managed to squeak into the Tour Championship with a T4 last week, has an excellent record at this course with a second and two 3rd place finishes in the last three years.
Sergio Garcia at 25/1 with Ladbrokes. Has had three top 15s at East Lake in as many appearances. Has been playing well in the playoffs, which he needed to do to make the Tour Championship, including a top 5 a couple of weeks back.

Bill Haas at 40/1 with Ladbrokes. Last time Haas played here he won en route to winning the FedEx Cup in 2011. Not at his best in recent times, but a good value each way shout in this small field. Also finished with a 67 last week and will look to progress from there.
Boo Weekley at 100/1 with Ladbrokes. Now I have been picking Boo all season, and he proved me correct when he won the Crowne Plaza Invitational at 100/1. Has been hitting it well all season (3rd PGA Tour Ball Striking Stat) but it depends on his putter whether he competes.
