Tiger: "More at peace"
Tiger Woods talks openly about his past year and plans for next season at the Chevron World Challenge press conference and annual Media Day
Tiger Woods has been speaking at a Media Day prior to the Chevron World Challenge later this year and the world number one admits to feeling "more at peace" after a year of scandal and revelations about his private life that led to his divorce from Elin Nordegren in August.
Woods failed to add to his Major tally of 14 Majors in 2010 and did not even record a win, but he did find some form in the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor despite America's defeat.
"Certainly I'm a lot more at peace now," said Woods.
"Everyone's getting used to the new living conditions. The kids are adjusting. I think everyone's certainly more at peace, and so am I, too.
"I learned a lot about myself, and I learned how things went wrong, why they went wrong, and had to take a pretty deep and introspective look at myself, and there weren't a lot of things I liked about it.
"But I had to do it, and I did it and grateful that I did. I think that I come from a much better place, much more grounded place now than I ever have before."
The 34-year-old also revealed that he's determined to bounce back from his disappointing season.
