Tiger makes Twitter return
After a winless year for Tiger Woods, the world number two and winner of 14 Majors stays true to his word and engages in a bit of Twitter to keep in touch with his fans
Tiger Woods has returned to using the social networking site, Twitter, by posting a series of replies to questions from his fans.
The 14-time Major winner has so far failed to win in 2010 and has suffered a dramatic slump in form since news broke of troubles with his marriage in November last year.
What followed was a remarkable fall from grace as Woods admitted to numerous affairs that led to a divorce and, subsequently, an alarming loss of form.
Prior to the Masters earlier this year Woods pledged to give more time to his fans, but there was little sign of this during a troubled campaign, during which he failed to add to his Major haul.
Now the 34-year-old appears determined to keep his word although many believe using Twitter is a mere publicity stunt ahead of the Chevron World Challenge this week, an event that he hosts.
One question asked: Hey, what's the best pre-round meal and "in the bag" snacks/food? Thnx, to which Tiger replied: "During round I eat peanut & banana sandwich & almonds".
Turning to 2011, we're asking you the question: How many Majors will Tiger win in 2011?
