Louis Oosthuizen took the Telkom PGA Championship in a thrilling finish at The Country Club Johannesburg. At the same time, third place for Charl Schwartzel saw him crowned as Sunshine Tour Order of Merit winner for a third consecutive year.
Oosthuizen shot a final round of 65 to win the title by one from Richard Sterne who finished with a 71. They reignited last week?s battle which saw Sterne winning a play-off on the second extra hole at Pretoria Country Club.
Oosthuizen says he is looking forward to taking his form onto the European Tour.
"I'm looking forward to Europe," he said. "Now I know I can really go out and win tournaments."
Schwartzel showed impressive dedication to his home tour by turning down an invite to the WGC-Accenture World Match Play so he could defend his Order of Merit title.
"I'm happy with my decision to stay on. I've achieved what I wanted," he said.
