It is week two of the PGA Tour and it is the first full field event of 2019 – as 144 are in attendance for the Sony Open being played as Waialae Country Club in Hawaii.
The event was won last year by Patton Kizzire – who claimed his second PGA Tour title – the American is defending his title this week and is 35/1 to win.
Favourites this week are Justin Thomas (6/1) and Bryson Dechambeau (10/1) while Jordan Spieth (14/1) will also be closely followed.

Sony Open Golf Betting Tips Advised Bets
Cameron Champ 4 points each way at 22/1 with Sportnation.bet – This season he has played in 6 events, made each cut and had three top 10s including a win. The impressive ball striker has not played in the event before, but the course should suit his game.
Charles Howell III 3 points each way at 28/1 with Sportnation.bet – The American is a two-time runner-up in the event with several other top 10s – but this could be his year to triumph – he won The RSM Classic in November and has followed that with a 3rd in the QBE Shootout and a 14th in the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Like him at this price to challenge again come Sunday.
Russell Henley 2 points each way at 66/1 with Sportnation.bet – The 2013 champ can surely not have as bad a 2019 as he did 2018. He has slipped from being inside the World’s Top 50 to nearly outside the top 100, but does have an excellent record in this event, and after a bit of time off should be refreshed and raring to go.
James Hahn 1 point each way at 100/1 with Sportnation.bet – On a current run of six cuts made in a row he finished runner-up last season in the event, and has had plenty of other good performances in the event over the years.
