Ryder Cuppers join field for World Cup
Ryder Cuppers Ian Poulter, Graeme McDowell and Ben Curtis confirm their attendance at November's World Cup in China
Ryder Cuppers Ian Poulter, Graeme McDowell and Ben Curtis have confirmed that they ll tee-up at next month s World Cup in Shenzhen, China.
Poulter, Europe s top points scorer at Valhalla, will partner European Open winner Ross Fisher for England, and McDowell will join forces with Paul McGinley for Ireland.
Meanwhile, America s Curtis will team up with 2008 US Masters nearly-man Brandt Snedeker.
Bradley Dredge and Richard Johnson will represent Wales, while Colin Montgomerie will try to put a disappointing season behind him when he tees up with Alastair Forsyth.
Indeed, Montgomerie can draw inspiration from last year s tournament when, together with Marc Warren, the Scots fended off the US threat of Heath Slocum and Boo Weekley in a play-off.
The World Cup strokeplay event consists of 72 holes over four days and incorporates alternating rounds of fourball better-ball and foursomes. Play gets underway on 27 November at Mission Hills Golf Club, Shenzhen, China.
