Qatar Masters betting guide - Selections
The Qatar Masters betting guide from expert Paul Krishnamurty. A top-class field provides some good betting opportunities with one or two decent each-way shouts
Several rank outsiders could be worth risking a few pennies at silly prices on Betfair, including Stephen Gallacher, Rafa Echenique and our old favourite, Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano. All three are at least 300, but preference is for last year's rookie of the year, PABLO LARRAZABAL, who is trading at 230, and 125/1 for each-way fixed odds backers. Larrazabal was so impressive in 2008 that he is always going to be worth a look at these sort of prices. His ultra-aggressive game is capable of taming any venue, and there aren't that many disasters awaiting on this course to penalise him. He wouldn't be the first inexperienced prospect to go well around here, and its notable that Scott's victories here owed much to a similar shoot-the-pin style. And crucially, Larrazabal has an ideal early tee-time in the second group out. Good Luck!
